How to make Apple and Oat and MF Cinnamon and Nutmeg scones

Good evening, my fellow blog readers, we hope you’re ready for another recipe today because the MF Team sure are. Today we will be looking at our MF Nutmeg, Cinnamon and one of our tastiest recipes that include the use of both ingredients. We present to you, the Apple and Oat Scones with MF Cinnamonand MF Nutmeg. In case many of you have forgotten, nutmeg has been found to relieve pain in the joints, soothe indigestion, strengthen cognitive function, enhance skin health, radiance and consist of much more. When trying these scone, The MF Team was delighted to learn that they have been light in consumption but hearty too. We found that having the apple inside these, allowed the scones to remain moist to a certain degree. We were also happy to see that the milk allowed the scones to remain tender with the oats adding a rather unique but enjoyable texture to the recipe. This recipe is perhaps for you guys that enjoy snacks but healthy ones. This recipe will serve 12, take 15 minutes to prepare and 1 hour 15 minutes to cook.

First things first, here are the ingredients:

-          1 cup of all-purpose flour

-          1 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats

-          1/4 cup of light brown sugar

-          2 tablespoons of light brown sugar

-          ½ a teaspoon of MF Cinnamon

-          ½ a teaspoon of MF Nutmeg

-          2 teaspoons of baking powder

-          3/4 teaspoon baking soda

-          1/2 teaspoon of salt

-          3/4 cup of cold unsalted butter

-          1 cup of cold buttermilk

-          1 1/2 cup of diced apple

Method:

1)      Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, MF Cinnamon, MF Nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2)      Cut up the butter with a pastry blender or rub in with your fingers. (The largest pieces should be the size of small peas.) With your fingertips, flatten butter pieces into small disks. Add apples and buttermilk, stir until dough comes together.

3)      Turn out dough onto a lightly floured work surface. Pat dough into a rectangle and cut into twelve squares with a floured knife.

4)      Place about 2 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Brush tops with buttermilk, and sprinkle with raw sugar and oats.

5)      Bake until golden brown, 20 to 22 minutes, rotating sheets halfway through. Let cool on sheets for 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

That’s how to make Apple and Oat and MF Cinnamon and Nutmeg scones, we hope you enjoy!

What can coffee do for your skin?

Good morning everyone, welcome back to another edition of The MF Products Blog. Today we’re going to be looking at coffee and what it can do for you cosmetically. Specifically, the largest organ on your body. No, its not the liver. It’s in fact, the skin. Yes! The skin that’s all over your body is indeed an organ and since it’s everywhere we should take the most care with it. At least that’s what we think at MF Products .   Anyways, many people go through life having sensitive skin and they endure this treacherous and tedious search in trying to find that ‘special’ cream that will magically dispose of any breakouts or redness when really there’s a game changer right in front of them (not literally, but you get where I’m going with this). The truth is… MF Coffee has been the saviour this whole time. In fact, a study was published that showed that Japanese women between the ages of 30 to 60 who drank coffee had significantly less markers of aging. So that meant less wrinkles ...

How to make the MF Seamoss face mask.

Facecare is arguably the most underlooked aspect of self-care on the human body, ironically, it’s the most sensitive part too. As a result, a great deal of these products on the high street shelves claim to be good for the skin but in reality, are not. The chemicals and toxins inputted in these products are artificial and therefore struggle to benefit the skin. In fact, in most case scenarios, they make the skin worse. That’s why the MF team decided to create a facecare blog today because we care about not just our customers but society as a whole too. This, therefore, brings us to the creation of the MF Seamoss facemask. The contents inside sea moss are, of course, natural and healthy for the body. This means, if they’re healthy for the body, they must be healthy for the skin too. You will need: -           MF Seamoss gel (check out our previous blog on how to make that) -           Chlor...

What is the best type of coffee?

Good evening my MF Product Blog readers, it’s been a while but we’re back with more content for you guys. Today, we saw a reader ask, “Out of all the different types of coffee, which one is the best?” and we believe it’s a great question. However, we also think that it depends on what you’re drinking for and that is what we will be investing in todays MF Blog . So, without further ado let’s get into this. A good cup of coffee is one that does whatever job it is that you assign it. Whether it be the most rank, percolated cup of coffee that you’re in dire need off for that extra boost or the most complex mocha made with MF Coffee that finesses your tongue with a touch of foam while you eat an olive shortbread. I know, fancy. The point is that there are so many variations of coffee to tickle your fancy. So, given that there are lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas the point this is that, while the ingredients are simple, the experience is not. There is nothing crazy about ordering a capp...
