Benefits of cinnamon.

MF Cinnamon is a heavily preferred household spice and has been used around the world for centuries. Once traded as currency, this spice has a lovely flavour and heartfelt smell that has made it popular in cooking, particularly in baking and curries. The spice originates from the inner bark of a small evergreen tree. The bark is peeled and laid in the sun to dry up, where it curls up into rolls known as cinnamon sticks. The cinnamon is then grinded out to make a powder with nothing else added to it.

At MF Products, we love cinnamon for more reasons than one. We’ve already told you how it can be used in coffee and cake. Now it’s time to look at how it’s good for you.

We’ve spoken about the variety of spices that possess anti-bacterial functions and cinnamon isn’t any different. The distinctive smell and flavour of cinnamon derives from the essential oils contained in the bark, called cinnamaldehyde. Cinnamaldehyde displays antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties too. All of which can be very helpful for the body. MF Cinnamon is also a useful source of manganese and contains small amounts of calcium and fibre.

Another function cinnamon has that is very beneficial is its breath-freshening powers. Cinnamaldehyde comes into play, killing that troublesome oral bacteria. To achieve fresher breath, chew on some cinnamon gum or make your own mouthwash by boiling 5 cinnamon sticks in 1 cup of water for 5 minutes, then use it as you would a regular mouthwash! It’s amazing the purposes cinnamon can have apart from being in food.

Lastly cinnamon has anti-oxidant properties. Anti-oxidants are important because they help the body reduce oxidative stress, which has been proven to damage cells and contribute to nearly every chronic disease, including type 2 diabetes. Surprisingly, cinnamon’s antioxidant capabilities are superior to that of many well-known superfoods! Which simply just emphasises how good MF Cinnamon is going to be!

At the end of the day,  MF Cinnamon is one of the most delicious and healthiest spices on the planet.

It can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors and has a plethora of other impressive health benefits that are bound to blow your mind.

What can coffee do for your skin?

Good morning everyone, welcome back to another edition of The MF Products Blog. Today we’re going to be looking at coffee and what it can do for you cosmetically. Specifically, the largest organ on your body. No, its not the liver. It’s in fact, the skin. Yes! The skin that’s all over your body is indeed an organ and since it’s everywhere we should take the most care with it. At least that’s what we think at MF Products .   Anyways, many people go through life having sensitive skin and they endure this treacherous and tedious search in trying to find that ‘special’ cream that will magically dispose of any breakouts or redness when really there’s a game changer right in front of them (not literally, but you get where I’m going with this). The truth is… MF Coffee has been the saviour this whole time. In fact, a study was published that showed that Japanese women between the ages of 30 to 60 who drank coffee had significantly less markers of aging. So that meant less wrinkles ...

How to make the MF Seamoss face mask.

Facecare is arguably the most underlooked aspect of self-care on the human body, ironically, it’s the most sensitive part too. As a result, a great deal of these products on the high street shelves claim to be good for the skin but in reality, are not. The chemicals and toxins inputted in these products are artificial and therefore struggle to benefit the skin. In fact, in most case scenarios, they make the skin worse. That’s why the MF team decided to create a facecare blog today because we care about not just our customers but society as a whole too. This, therefore, brings us to the creation of the MF Seamoss facemask. The contents inside sea moss are, of course, natural and healthy for the body. This means, if they’re healthy for the body, they must be healthy for the skin too. You will need: -           MF Seamoss gel (check out our previous blog on how to make that) -           Chlor...

What is the best type of coffee?

Good evening my MF Product Blog readers, it’s been a while but we’re back with more content for you guys. Today, we saw a reader ask, “Out of all the different types of coffee, which one is the best?” and we believe it’s a great question. However, we also think that it depends on what you’re drinking for and that is what we will be investing in todays MF Blog . So, without further ado let’s get into this. A good cup of coffee is one that does whatever job it is that you assign it. Whether it be the most rank, percolated cup of coffee that you’re in dire need off for that extra boost or the most complex mocha made with MF Coffee that finesses your tongue with a touch of foam while you eat an olive shortbread. I know, fancy. The point is that there are so many variations of coffee to tickle your fancy. So, given that there are lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas the point this is that, while the ingredients are simple, the experience is not. There is nothing crazy about ordering a capp...
