Benefits of Jamaican soursop.

Hello, my MF Products UK Blog readers, today we’re going to be looking at the benefits of MF Soursop, particularly in powder form. We were really interested to find out more about such a fruit that hardly receives any recognition yet has so many proclaimed health benefits.

Soursop is a fruit that grows in tropical areas, including South America, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa. It’s also known as ‘graviola’ and ‘custard apple’. It has a green skin and looks somewhat like a spiky apple with white flesh and brown seeds inside that most definitely cannot be consumed. With an aroma similar to pineapple, the flavour of the fruit has been described as a combination of strawberries and apple with sour citrus flavour notes, contrasting with an underlying thick and creamy texture reminiscent of banana. The flesh of the fruit consists of an edible, white pulp, some fibre, and a core of obscure black seeds. The pulp is often used to make fruit nectar, smoothies, fruit juice drinks, as well as candies, and ice cream flavourings. This is soursop in its fruit form though. In its powdered form, soursop has adopted a dark green colour which comes from the leaves.

Since the Nineties, Soursop has been advocated for its wide-ranging health benefits. The leaves and root are known (due to research) to boost your immune system, help soothe stomach ailments and ease hypertension. Soursop is also a powerful antioxidant and a good source of vitamin C, B1 and B2. The latter two along with magnesium help to boost your energy levels without giving you the dip that is associated with caffeine.

MF Soursop also has anti-bacterial functions. Soursop is able to effectively kill off multiple types of bacteria, including strains that cause gingivitis, tooth decay and yeast infections. Amazing, I know right!

Another great thing about MF Soursop is that it protects the immune system. The immune system is one of the most important components of a healthy diet and fitness plan.  Adding a bit of soursop fruit or powder to your diet, either through refreshing beverages or desserts, can positively impact your overall health.  It's rich in Vitamin C which stimulates the production of white blood cells. Which is especially used in protecting your body from flu and other nasty viruses/infections.

In conclusion MF Soursop will be a great addition to your cupboard of superfoods. It's healthy and delicious and seamlessly enters food.

What can coffee do for your skin?

Good morning everyone, welcome back to another edition of The MF Products Blog. Today we’re going to be looking at coffee and what it can do for you cosmetically. Specifically, the largest organ on your body. No, its not the liver. It’s in fact, the skin. Yes! The skin that’s all over your body is indeed an organ and since it’s everywhere we should take the most care with it. At least that’s what we think at MF Products .   Anyways, many people go through life having sensitive skin and they endure this treacherous and tedious search in trying to find that ‘special’ cream that will magically dispose of any breakouts or redness when really there’s a game changer right in front of them (not literally, but you get where I’m going with this). The truth is… MF Coffee has been the saviour this whole time. In fact, a study was published that showed that Japanese women between the ages of 30 to 60 who drank coffee had significantly less markers of aging. So that meant less wrinkles ...

How to make the MF Soursop smoothie.

Good evening MF Blog readers, we hope you all are staying active during this cold Christmas season. As the year draws to a close, MF Products still have a variety of tasty recipes to broadcast and this week we will be looking at how we can use our MF Soursop to make some delightful treats. Today we will be making our very own MF Soursop smoothie with bananas and almonds. We chose bananas due it’s alpha and beta carotene content when consumed by the body, this then turns in vitamin A. Bananas are also a good source of potassium and due to its low water content, it contains more calories and is more filling. This pairs wonderfully with the benefits of soursop (previously mentioned in another blog) as it; possesses antioxidants, fights against bacteria, and boosts the immune system. Almonds are also very beneficial as they contain unsaturated fats, fibre, magnesium as well as protein. When adding all three ingredients together, this is a very healthy smoothie that will help to ...

What is the best type of coffee?

Good evening my MF Product Blog readers, it’s been a while but we’re back with more content for you guys. Today, we saw a reader ask, “Out of all the different types of coffee, which one is the best?” and we believe it’s a great question. However, we also think that it depends on what you’re drinking for and that is what we will be investing in todays MF Blog . So, without further ado let’s get into this. A good cup of coffee is one that does whatever job it is that you assign it. Whether it be the most rank, percolated cup of coffee that you’re in dire need off for that extra boost or the most complex mocha made with MF Coffee that finesses your tongue with a touch of foam while you eat an olive shortbread. I know, fancy. The point is that there are so many variations of coffee to tickle your fancy. So, given that there are lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas the point this is that, while the ingredients are simple, the experience is not. There is nothing crazy about ordering a capp...
