Does coffee help suppress your appetite?

Good afternoon my fellow MF blog readers, what a beautiful day today am I right? Anyways, I was scrolling through my DM’s and a fellow reader asked if “MF Coffee would help supress [their] diet” and I just thought to myself, “what a great question” so without further ado let’s get into it.

As you many of you know already a cup of MF Coffee will have a chemical called caffeine in it which is the stimulant of the Central Nervous System. When taken in moderation, it can really do wonders for your body.

Caffeine is an effective ergogenic which improves athletic performance. It spares muscle glycogen and delays fatigue. Coffee also contains chlorogenic acid. This is where the discussion gets interesting because chlorogenic acid helps in controlling hunger pangs. So, the hypothesis that coffee can suppress your appetite does have an element of truth in it.

There are three hormones around the stomach area of the body.  Ghrelin, Leptin & Peptide YY. Ghrelin is an appetite stimulating hormone which is found mainly in the stomach. It’s responsibility is to increase food intake and actually stimulates appetite. Which is not what our MF Blog reader wants. The next hormones are Leptin and Peptide YY. These two are slightly different as they’re appetite controlling hormones instead of being stimulating.

Leptin is a hormone, synthesized primarily in fat cells, which has been shown to decrease food intake and increase energy expenditure.

Peptide YY is secreted by the cells of the large intestine. Peptide YY lowers appetite and food intake by acting on neurons in the “hypothalamus” to help people feel full. Now, you guys don’t need to know what hypothalamus means however what you DO need to know is that it aids towards the argument that coffee does indeed suppress ones appetite.

Decaffeinated coffee (which will be coming soon to mfproducts.co.uk) , caffeinated coffee (which is readily available to buy right now), and caffeine will decrease hunger, Ghrelin, and increase Ghrelin and Peptide YY.

Studies have shown that there is more success in reducing your appetite with decaffeinated coffee due to the fact that when it is consumed, a turn off signal is sent directly to the brains desire hub for eating or drinking which consequently suppresses the need to consume more.

To conclude, the need to eat CAN be solved with a cup of MF Coffee. It is indeed possible. This most likely due to coffees ability to stimulate different chemicals and hormones in the body.

What can coffee do for your skin?

Good morning everyone, welcome back to another edition of The MF Products Blog. Today we’re going to be looking at coffee and what it can do for you cosmetically. Specifically, the largest organ on your body. No, its not the liver. It’s in fact, the skin. Yes! The skin that’s all over your body is indeed an organ and since it’s everywhere we should take the most care with it. At least that’s what we think at MF Products .   Anyways, many people go through life having sensitive skin and they endure this treacherous and tedious search in trying to find that ‘special’ cream that will magically dispose of any breakouts or redness when really there’s a game changer right in front of them (not literally, but you get where I’m going with this). The truth is… MF Coffee has been the saviour this whole time. In fact, a study was published that showed that Japanese women between the ages of 30 to 60 who drank coffee had significantly less markers of aging. So that meant less wrinkles ...

How to make the MF Seamoss face mask.

Facecare is arguably the most underlooked aspect of self-care on the human body, ironically, it’s the most sensitive part too. As a result, a great deal of these products on the high street shelves claim to be good for the skin but in reality, are not. The chemicals and toxins inputted in these products are artificial and therefore struggle to benefit the skin. In fact, in most case scenarios, they make the skin worse. That’s why the MF team decided to create a facecare blog today because we care about not just our customers but society as a whole too. This, therefore, brings us to the creation of the MF Seamoss facemask. The contents inside sea moss are, of course, natural and healthy for the body. This means, if they’re healthy for the body, they must be healthy for the skin too. You will need: -           MF Seamoss gel (check out our previous blog on how to make that) -           Chlor...

What is the best type of coffee?

Good evening my MF Product Blog readers, it’s been a while but we’re back with more content for you guys. Today, we saw a reader ask, “Out of all the different types of coffee, which one is the best?” and we believe it’s a great question. However, we also think that it depends on what you’re drinking for and that is what we will be investing in todays MF Blog . So, without further ado let’s get into this. A good cup of coffee is one that does whatever job it is that you assign it. Whether it be the most rank, percolated cup of coffee that you’re in dire need off for that extra boost or the most complex mocha made with MF Coffee that finesses your tongue with a touch of foam while you eat an olive shortbread. I know, fancy. The point is that there are so many variations of coffee to tickle your fancy. So, given that there are lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas the point this is that, while the ingredients are simple, the experience is not. There is nothing crazy about ordering a capp...
