How does coffee help prevent diabetes?

Good evening my MF Coffee drinkers, we hope you had a fantastic weekend! You know how this goes, we pick a question from random and we answer it, it’s as clear cut as that. Today, one of our MF Product Blog readers asked if coffee had any way of preventing diabetes and well since MF Coffee has SOOOO many health qualities we wouldn’t be surprised if it was able to prevent diabetes too. So, without further ado, lets get into the question.

Researchers have found that cafestol – a bioactive compound present in coffee – increased insulin secretion, reduced fasting glucose levels, and improved insulin sensitivity in mice. For who don’t know, type 2 diabetes arises when the body is no longer able to produce enough insulin or use the hormone effectively. As a result, blood glucose levels may become too high.

So far it is estimated that around 30.3 million people in the United States and 3.9 million in the United kingdom  have diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes, accounting for around 90 to 95 percent of all cases. Previous research has indicated that drinking MF Coffee may help to lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. While some studies have attributed this association to the effects of caffeine – the well-known stimulant in coffee – other research has suggested that alternative substances in the beverage might be at play.

In order to reach their findings, the researchers had to assess three groups of mice, all of which were at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. One group was given 1.1 milligrams of cafestol, another was given 0.4 milligrams and the last group was given no cafestol at all. After ten weeks, the results showed that the mice fed with cafestol experienced a 28-30 percent reduction in blood glucose levels as well as a 42 percent increase in glucose sensitivity and a 20 percent reduction in fasting glucagon, which is the hormone that increases blood glucose levels.

To conclude readers, the benefits MF Coffee has, know no bounds. It's quite truly an extraordinary beverage that aids and soothes the soul. It's amazing that we're able to provide such a drink to the masses.

Benefits of nutmeg

Good morning my MF Products Blog readers, today we’re going to be looking at the benefits of MF Nutmeg . Nutmeg is popularly known as Jatiphal and Jaiphal in India. It’s one of the oldest spices, like pepper and clove and it’s been cultivated for over 1000 years. Nutmeg is a spice made from the seed of Myristica fragrans, a tropical tree that is native to the Banda island of Indonesia but also commonly grown in the Caribbean and other tropical areas of the world such as the St John Parish in Jamaica. When it comes to the actual characteristics, the nutmeg seed is oval-shaped, about an inch long, slightly wrinkled, dark brown on the outside and light brown on the inside. For centuries nutmeg has been treasured for its flavour, aroma, and medicinal properties throughout the world.   In regard to MF Nutmegs taste, it’s something quite extraordinary. It possesses this sweet, spicy yet woody sensation. It’s almost as if Christmas comes early with MF Nutmeg. Did you know nutmeg has cooling
