What does coffee mean to MF PRODUCTS UK ?

The founders of MF PRODUCTS UK have been in the coffee industry for over 2 decades. Many have grown up working on the same fields that are producing these world class beans today. Laboured in Blue Mountain, Jamaica, the quality harboured in each bean is guaranteed to remain exquisite with a tantalizing aroma that will leave you enticed. Visit www.mfproducts.co.uk and you will see the difference. Coffee to MF is more than just the beans however, it’s a way of life. Waking up in the early hours of the morning MF workers make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that the best beans are harvested for you. As a business, MF PRODUCTS UK have an ethos in going straight to the source and cutting out the middleman. By doing this they reduce the possibility of exploitation and abuse during business. To many businesses going to the source is often seen as undesirable and tedious but not to MF PRODUCTS UK. At MF PRODUCTS UK travelling to Dublin to witness the process of beans being roasted or flying 7537 miles away to Blue Mountain to learn about the origins of Jamaican coffee beans is often seen as essential in consolidating the company’s identity. That’s what separates MF PRODUCTS from other coffee corporations, at MF PRODUCTS the trivial things are always considered and respected.

At MF PRODUCTS UK the coffee’s taste is indisputably unique due to its rich and alluring flavour that will leave you longing for more. “Why is their coffee so amazing?” I hear you ask . Well, its due to an accumulation of factors. The Blue Mountains serve as the highest peak in Jamaica and provide an ideal climate for growing high-quality coffee. A cool, misty climate with prominent levels of rainfall precipitates soil to ensure that it is incredibly moist and fertile. The reduced oxygen at an altitude of over 5,000ft produces a richer coffee bean, with plants growing slower than normal and therefore having a more concentrated flavour. Due to this extended and rather profound service, it may not come to you as a surprise that MF coffee is quite rare, with 80% of its exports going to Japan that leaves only 20% for the rest of the world. Now you do the maths. It's this exclusivity that makes MF coffee so special and therefore is treated with upmost respect by its cultivators with the hope to continue this treatment for many more centuries.

How to make the MF Soursop smoothie.

Good evening MF Blog readers, we hope you all are staying active during this cold Christmas season. As the year draws to a close, MF Products still have a variety of tasty recipes to broadcast and this week we will be looking at how we can use our MF Soursop to make some delightful treats. Today we will be making our very own MF Soursop smoothie with bananas and almonds. We chose bananas due it’s alpha and beta carotene content when consumed by the body, this then turns in vitamin A. Bananas are also a good source of potassium and due to its low water content, it contains more calories and is more filling. This pairs wonderfully with the benefits of soursop (previously mentioned in another blog) as it; possesses antioxidants, fights against bacteria, and boosts the immune system. Almonds are also very beneficial as they contain unsaturated fats, fibre, magnesium as well as protein. When adding all three ingredients together, this is a very healthy smoothie that will help to ...

Benefits of pimento (also known as allspice).

Before we get into the benefits of pimento, at MF Products UK we believe we must look at a foods history first and learn about its origin. So, without further ado let’s look into pimento which is also known as allspice. The pimento tree is indigenous to the Caribbean Islands. It was found growing in Jamaica by early Spanish explorers who were quite impressed with its tantalising taste and aroma of the berries and the leaves. Pimento trees were then later discovered in Cuba and were presumed to have been taken there by migrant birds who had eaten the berries. They have also been found in Mexico, but it is Jamaica that has the longest history, having been in continuous production since the tree was identified in about the year 1509. The name Pimento originated from the Spanish word "pimienta" which meant ‘peppercorn’. To most English-speaking people the tree is called "pimento" and the berries "allspice". The name allspice originated from the widespread n...
